US Cellular Parking MapSeveral private parking locations are available near the US Cellular Arena. Parking fees depend on other activities scheduled at the Bradley Center. E xpect to pay $5-10 per day for parking. You may locate the Wisconsin Center District parking lot entrance on 500 W. Wells St. across from the arena.

Indiana Robotics Invitational

Team 1675 will be taking a trip down to Indiannapolis Indiana to compete in the Anual Indiana Robotics Invitattional (IRI). The Competition takes place Friday and Saturday, July 31st and August 1st.

Gallery Night

Team 1675 will be at the Blue Ant Gallery (338 N. Milwaukee St) in the Historic Third Ward on Friday, July 24th. The team will have their 2009 robot on display as well as some interactive exhibits in which visitors can use robots to create art. On display will be several photographs and movies from throughout the team’s history as well as some interesting works of art creating using some of the team’s robots.

The Road to Atlanta

Winning the Midwest Regional was more then just a Championship and a Trophy for Team 1675. Winning a FIRST Regional Competition earns you a ticket to the FRC National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia. The event starts Thursday, April 16th 2009 and ends with the crowning of the National Champions Saturday, April 18th 2009. 349 Teams divided into four divisions compete in matches of 3 on 3 to the best alliance in their division. Winners of each Division meet at the Championship field and compete for the title of National Champions.

Midwest Regional Champions!

With week one competitions over Team1675 has somthing to be quite happy about. The Team returns home to Milwaukee, WI with a “Regional Championship” under the belt. Team 1675 went 4-4-0 through qualification matches. During “Alliance Selections” UPS was the second pick for #3 seed 111 Wildstang who had already pickĀ  the #4 seed 1625 Winnovation to join them. The Alliance of 111,1625 and 1675 went 6-1-0 in the “Elimination Matches” and took home the Regional Championship.

Along with winning the Regional Championship Team 1675 was Awarded the Underwriters Laboratories Industrial Safety Award.
